  4. · insights, inventory, customers, purchasing

ML Insights: forecasts, churn risk and purchase recommendations

A new ML Insights module brings sales and demand forecasts, customer risk insights and purchase-order recommendations into NexaPOS.

ML Insights is a new module that looks at your own NexaPOS data and suggests where to act. It is switched on for each business by the NexaPOS team.

    What it covers

    • Sales forecasting, and demand forecasts by product and category.
    • Customer churn and loyalty-risk insights, and customer segmentation.
    • Campaign audience recommendations, for reaching the right customer group.
    • Supplier performance insights.
    • Purchase-order recommendations, which can be turned into draft purchase orders for you to review.
    • Access-risk insights about staff access.

    Where you see it

ML Insights appears as cards on the dashboard, and inside the customer, inventory and purchasing areas where each insight is useful.

Ask the team in your demo whether ML Insights is available for your business.

  5. · receipts, pos

Receipt paper sizes and digital receipt sharing

Receipts can now be printed on 58 mm, 80 mm, A5, A4 or Letter, and shared digitally.

    • Digital receipt sharing.
    • Branded receipts with your logo and colours (see branding).
  6. · dashboard, staff, branches

Role-specific dashboards and the NexaPOS Overview

Administrators, managers and cashiers each get a dashboard for their role, and the Overview shows the active branch.

The main dashboard is now the NexaPOS Overview.

    • Dashboards by role: administrators, managers and cashiers each see what matters for their work.
    • The active branch is shown on the Overview, so everyone knows which branch they are working in.
    • Work location is set in Settings, under Account.
  7. · security, data

    Safeguards for permanent business deletion

Permanently deleting a business now needs confirmation and a reason, follows a retention period, offers an export, and is recorded.

Permanent deletion of a business's data is now controlled by NexaPOS, with safeguards:

    • a confirmation and a recorded reason;
    • a retention period before deletion;
    • an export of the data;
    • an audit record of what was done.

Demo and sample-data tools have also been removed from the application.

  8. · inventory, purchasing, sales

Sales orders, cycle counts and purchasing controls

New modules for sales orders, cycle counts, purchasing controls and inventory intelligence.

    New modules for day-to-day operations:

    • Sales orders.
    • Cycle counts, for counting stock a section at a time.
    • Purchasing controls.
    • Inventory intelligence.
  9. · security, staff

Sign in to your business with email and password

Staff now choose their business first, then sign in with their own email and password. Administrators can reset staff passwords.

Signing in is now tied to your business.

    How it works

    1. Open the business entry page and choose your business. The sign-in page shows your business's official name.
    2. Sign in with your own email and password.

Manager and cashier PIN sign-in has been removed, so every person signs in with their own account. Business administrators can reset staff passwords.

    Stronger separation

Each business's data, and each branch within it, is kept more strictly apart, and staff access controls have been updated.

  10. · branding, receipts

Your own branding: logo, colours, theme and branded receipts

Businesses can now brand NexaPOS with their logo, icon, colours, typography and theme, on screen, at sign-in and on receipts.

A new branding module lets each business make NexaPOS its own.

    What you can set

    • Your logo and icon.
    • Your colours, typography and theme.
    • Sign-in branding: your business's official name on the sign-in page.
    • Receipt branding and branded documents.

A branding editor shows a preview before you save.
