Before you start
- A powered POS terminal
- Confirmation from the NexaPOS team of which sales are eligible for your setup
NexaPOS has offline-capable checkout for eligible sales. Eligible sales can be captured during a connection loss and synchronized safely later.
Not everything works offline. Which sales are eligible depends on your setup, and the NexaPOS team confirms this with you before you rely on it.
When the connection drops
- Carry on with eligible sales at the counter.
- Each eligible sale is captured on the terminal.
- Leave the terminal switched on and powered: it needs power to keep working.
When the connection returns
- Captured sales are synchronized safely.
- Stock and reports catch up once the sales have synchronized.
Before you rely on it
Ask the team which sales are eligible for your store. You can do this in your demo or through the contact page.
When you are done
You know which sales can continue during a connection loss and what happens to them when the connection returns.
